Joy Meadows Church Network
partners with churches of all
sizes to ensure every child has a
well-supported family—before,
during, and beyond foster care.

‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Matthew 25:35-40

Every child deserves
stability, healing, and joy.

  • Children move an average of 3 times while they are in foster care.

  • Biological families lack the support needed to keep children protected and stable.

  • Due to burnout, it is difficult to retain foster homes, causing children to repeatedly move homes.

Every church is needed.
Where does your church fit?

The Joy Meadows Church Network is a coordinated system of support for greater impact. It is churches partnering together to meet the needs of children and families impacted by foster care according to their individual churches’ calling, strengths, resources and geographic location.

Relief
Meet short-term needs such
as bringing awareness or tangible physical needs.

Relational
Provide peer support and community support to begin relational connections.

Restoration
Provide wrap-around support. This is transformative work for the individual and family.

This foster family continued to foster
because of their Care Community’s support.

With this proven model, churches provide vulnerable children what they need the most: Strong Families.

Churches in the Joy Meadows Church Network receive:

  • Support from Joy Meadows staff to train and equip

  • Lower overhead of implementing missional or foster-care-related ministries

  • Free, volunteer-led system, to adapt to your churches' ministry needs

  • Free access to marketing materials, advocacy, and volunteer training materials

  • Recognition as a Network Partner - leading families to your local church

  • Sharing of resources - all churches do not have to do all things, but can work together so that all needs are met

  • Access to databases with geographic matching of families needing support

  • Amenities of Joy Meadows locations, and all available resources

Only by working together can we provide the coordinated system of support needed for long-term transformation of children and families impacted by the foster care system.
